NORMAN – The Northeastern State men's golf program was honored for its work in the classroom and earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 season from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.

The program is one of 52 in NCAA Division II to be named for having a team grade point average above a 3.0, with just three overall from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) being placed by the GCAA.

A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award.
