TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State opens its 44th season of men's soccer on Thursday at Drury. The match marks the beginning of the regular season for both teams, with head coach
Rob Czlonka entering his 15th season as head coach of the RiverHawks.
The RiverHawks are tabbed to finish in fifth place in a preseason vote by the Great American Conference and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association men's soccer coaches.
NSU has played in two preseason friendlies, hosting Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and then traveling to Oklahoma Christian.Â
History with the Blue Tigers
The RiverHawks will see Lincoln for the first time in program history. The 2025 season is the second for the Blue Tigers' young program.
Scouting the Blue Tigers
- Saturday will be the season opener for the Blue Tigers and the lone non-GLVC team to visit Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
