TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks remain on the road for the second consecutive week and will be in Texas for matches on Thursday and Saturday.
Northeastern State will make its second appearance in Lubbock, but will play the Chaps for the first time on their pitch. Then on Saturday, NSU will meet an old rival in Midwestern State.
After missing the 2024 season, Martin Martinez has scored a goal and landed an assist in his return to the field.

History with the Chaps
- NSU has only played against LCU once all-time, which happened last year on September 12th, ending in a 0-0 draw.

- The Chapparals were picked to finish sixth in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll, with their goalkeeper Connor Pettigrew on the conference's high watch, who's already recorded a clean sheet this season.

- This will be MSU's first time playing NSU in four years, which used to be a regular annual opponent when both were members of the Lone Star.
Scouting the Mustangs
- MSU has two results behind them, those being a draw to Colorado Mesa and a win against Westminster at home.
- The Mustangs have won the Lone Star Conference two of the last six seasons and are favored to do that again in 2025, ranking them #10 in the entirety of Division II.
