TULSA, Okla. --
Will Livermore ranks near the top of the individual leaderboard in a tie for second, while Northeastern State sits in ninth after one day and two rounds of action at the 27th NSU Men's Golf Classic.
The RiverHawks landed a 563 (283-280) across the day. Little separation spans much of the top ten, with NSU just six strokes back from the top five and ten back of second-place Central Missouri (553). Central Oklahoma leads the field after logging a 550 (274-276) for the day.
Will Livermore shot a 133 (67-66) across Monday's action to sit just one stroke back of the individual lead. Livermore paced the field with 17 birdies, five more than the next-highest total among competitors.
Nathan Biais also had a great showing on day one, shooting a 137 (70-67) to tie for ninth. Biais sits one stroke above a tie for 11th place, while the top five is just three away for the junior.
Ian Wilcoxen finished the day with a 147 (72-75).
Cole Waymire landed a 148 (74-74), while
Tripp Jackson was just a stroke back with a 149 (76-73).
Kaden Risenhoover competed as an individual and had a good day on the course, collecting an eagle on the 14th hole in the second round to highlight the outing, which saw Risenhoover claim a score of 141 (72-69).
Juan Vergel also competed individually and shot a 145 (71-74), while
Evan Weaver also competed individually and logged a 153 (77-76).
The event wraps up Tuesday with its third and final round.
