TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University Athletics will celebrate Community Day at the RiverHawks' football game on Saturday, September 20, when NSU takes on Westgate Christian at Doc Wadley Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

As part of the celebration, NSU Athletics is partnering with local businesses to distribute a total of 325 complimentary general admission tickets to fans beginning Wednesday, September 17. Tickets will be available at select sponsor locations in Tahlequah:

Each location will handle its allocation of tickets at its discretion, providing an opportunity for fans to support local businesses while securing entry to the game.

In addition, NSU Athletics is inviting area youth teams to be part of the action. Any youth athlete wearing their team jersey or uniform to the game will receive free admission along with pregame sideline access during team warm-ups.

"Community Day is all about celebrating the people and partners who make Tahlequah special," said Director of Athletics John Sisemore. "This event allows us to bring fans, businesses, and families together while showcasing the next generation of athletes."

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and take part in the Community Day atmosphere at Doc Wadley Stadium.
