Men's Soccer visits Fort Hays State for its GAC/MIAA opener

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State opens GAC/MIAA play on the road Wednesday with a clash with rivals Fort Hays State at 7 p.m. 

Both the RiverHawks (3-1-2) and Tigers appeared in the most recent United Soccer Coaches' Poll, and NSU has not lost in its previous four matches.  Northeastern State is seeking its sixth consecutive win in its GAC/MIAA opener.

Carter Adams leads the RiverHawks with three goals, and four others have notched a goal in the six contests played this season.

History with the Tigers
- Fort Hays holds an 18-9-7 series advantage over Northeastern State.
- The RiverHawks' last win at Hays came during the COVID spring GAC/MIAA Championship semifinal in 2021.

Scouting the Tigers
- FHSU is ranked No. 20 in Division II, having drawn against No. 3 CSU-Pueblo and winning 2-0 against Thomas More.
- The Tigers are undefeated so far this year, getting their fourth win in a 9-0 route against Jamestown on Saturday.
