Men's Soccer returns home in continued league play

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State men's soccer returns to DeLoache Field this Wednesday, where they will play four of their next five matches in continued GAC/MIAA action. 

The RiverHawks (3-3-2, 0-2 GAC/MIAA) will be looking for their first league win after dropping contests last week on the road to Fort Hays State (5-1) and Newman (4-2).

Carter Adams continues to lead the RiverHawks with four goals, and Jack Smith landed two this past Saturday at Newman.

History with the Bisons
- Throughout NSU's twenty-five year history with Harding, they've only lost once across 30 matches.
- The RiverHawks are 16-0 at DeLoache when facing the Bisons.

Scouting the Bisons
- Harding went 0-2 to start GAC/MIAA play, dropping their league opener to then-#11 Rogers State (5-0) before narrowly dropping a decision to Southern Nazarene (3-2) last Saturday.
- The Bisons have not won a road game so far this year, having an 0-2-1 record in true away contests.

History with the Tigers
- NSU hasn't lost to OBU since 2016, going 12-0-2 since.
- The Tigers have only scored once against the RiverHawks in the last nine matchups.

Scouting the Tigers
- Ouachita Baptist started conference action last week with back-to-back losses, losing matches to Southern Nazarene (4-0) and #11 Rogers State (2-0).
- The Tigers have been winless across their first three conference matches in every season since 2019.
