SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Northeastern State closed play Monday at the Men's Rattler Invitational with a tie for eighth place after two rounds at The Dominion Country Club.
The RiverHawks posted a 36-hole total of 594, finishing at 18-over-par (299-295) in the 16-team field.
Nathan Biais led Northeastern State with an even-par total of 144, carding rounds of 72 and 72 to finish tied for seventh. Biais was steady throughout the event, recording matching scores on the par-72, 6,907-yard layout.
Ian Wilcoxen added a 3-over 147 (72-75) to tie for 17th, while
Will Livermore rebounded from an opening-round 80 to shoot 71 in the second round and tie for 41st at 151.
Carson Scrymgeour rounded out the RiverHawks' scoring lineup with a 12-over 156 (76-80), placing tied for 67th.
Midwestern State leads the team standings at 568 (280-288), followed by St. Mary's (Texas) at 580 and DBU at 583.
The tournament concludes with the final round Tuesday at The Dominion Country Club.
