TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State makes its first softball trip to Ada since 2010 on Tuesday, facing East Central in a non-conference doubleheader.

The RiverHawks (8-7) split a twin bill at Southwest Baptist on Saturday. Korynn Tindel provided the fireworks, launching a home run in both games, while Mattison Hamilton delivered a big day at the plate, going 4-for-9 with four RBI in Bolivar.

East Central (3-12) snapped a six-game losing streak Saturday by taking the opener of a doubleheader against Ouachita Baptist. Brooklyn Charnock leads the Tigers in the circle with a 3.10 ERA. She held the RiverHawks scoreless over seven innings in a neutral-site matchup just over a week ago.

Northeastern State leads the all-time series 45-30 and holds a 19-12 edge in games played in Ada.

First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
