TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State remains in Green Country this weekend for a three-game baseball series against Rogers State. With weather conditions expected to change over the weekend, the Hillcats and RiverHawks will now play a doubleheader Friday in Claremore beginning at 1 p.m. The series finale in Tahlequah on Saturday remains unchanged and is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Northeastern State (7-14, 2-7 MIAA) has won three of its last four games and defeated Southeastern Oklahoma State 16-6 in seven innings Tuesday at Rousey Field. The victory marked NSU's largest margin of victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State since 2010.

Xavier Sanchez has driven in eight runs over the last two games.
Rogers State (17-3, 5-1 MIAA) is off to its best start as an NCAA program and enters the weekend riding a nine-game winning streak. In the latest American Baseball Coaches Association poll, the Hillcats are ranked No. 24 nationally. RSU's past opponent winning percentage sits at .438, ranking No. 167 nationally and the third lowest among MIAA teams. Tyler Nelson leads the Hillcats with a .418 batting average.
