TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State's tennis teams will travel north this week with an adjusted schedule after weather forced changes to their original slate.
Wednesday's match against Rockhurst has been postponed and rescheduled for April 22 in Tahlequah.
Both Northeastern State teams are set to face Northwest Missouri on Thursday. The men's team, carrying a 5-6 record, will begin play at 1 p.m. in a match decided by the first team to reach four points. The women's team, 8-4 overall and 1-0 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play, will follow in a conference matchup that will be played to completion across all courts.
On Friday, the Northeastern State women will travel to St. Joseph, Missouri, for a 9 a.m. MIAA match against Missouri Western. The men will be idle, as Missouri Western does not sponsor a men's tennis program.
