KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Northeastern State's Nathan Biais earned MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week honors after capturing medalist honors at the Men's Rattler Invitational in San Antonio.

Biais paced the 87-player field with a 4-under-par 212, posting rounds of 72-72-68 at The Dominion Country Club. The junior sealed the victory with a 4-under 68 in the final round, finishing one stroke ahead of Midwestern State's Ryan Griff (213).

The win marked Northeastern State's first medalist finish at the event since Brad Risenhoover accomplished the feat in 2005.
