TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Four Northeastern State men's basketball student-athletes were among 54 named to the MIAA Honor Roll on Tuesday for their academic achievements.
Koen Derry,
Parker Hardage,
Jaxson Vandegarde and
Taven Washington each earned the honor for the second consecutive time. All four were also recognized last summer.
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, as determined by the institution for NCAA academic certification. The student-athlete also must have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying institution, excluding summer terms.
The MIAA will announce freshmen and newcomers during the summer following the spring academic term.
