Men's Tennis Travels to Newman for Final Road Match

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State men's tennis travels to Wichita, Kansas, on Saturday for its final scheduled road match of the regular season against Newman.

The RiverHawks (5-8) will face the Jets for the first—and likely only—time, as Newman's program is set to be discontinued following the season.

Alexander Edley and Mansur Khajimuradov climbed to No. 50 in the ITA national doubles rankings, marking the program's first national ranking in that category since 1999. James Edley has won his last three matches at the No. 1 singles position.

Newman (0-7) is still seeking its first win of the season and has been swept in its last four matches. Saturday's contest will be the Jets' final home match before closing the season at Nebraska-Kearney.

First serve is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
