Box Score TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State dropped a 4-2 decision to Rockhurst on Wednesday in men's tennis action.

The RiverHawks (6-9) picked up an early win in doubles as Alexander Edley and Mansur Khajimuradov secured a 7-5 victory at No. 1, but Rockhurst claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.

In singles play, Northeastern State battled back behind its top lineup. James Edley rallied for a three-set victory at No. 1, 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-3, and Alexander Edley added a straight-sets win at No. 2, 6-3, 6-1.

The dual came down to the remaining courts, where Rockhurst secured the deciding points despite competitive efforts from the RiverHawks, including a three-set match at No. 4.

Northeastern State will close out the regular season Thursday against Ouachita Baptist at 10 a.m. in its MIAA/GAC finale.
