Box Score KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State dropped a 4-2 decision to Rockhurst on Wednesday in women's tennis action.

The RiverHawks (11-8) opened the match by taking doubles play, securing the point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Daisy Barrow and Renata Morales earned a victory at No. 1 doubles for Northeastern State.  Camila De Michele Garzon and Laura Mertens claimed court three.

In singles play, the RiverHawks picked up its lone point behind a strong performance from Morales, who posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles.

Rockhurst claimed the remaining singles matches to seal the team victory.

Northeastern State will look to bounce back Friday when it hosts Emporia State.
