KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Northeastern State placed four players on the All-MIAA/GAC men's tennis postseason teams, highlighted by a first-team singles selection for Alexander Edley, conference officials announced Tuesday.

Edley earned First Team Singles honors after posting an 11-5 overall record, including a 5-1 mark against league opponents this spring. The sophomore also closed the regular season with South Division Athlete of the Week recognition. He added an Honorable Mention selection in doubles alongside Mansur Khajimuradov, as the duo went 9-7 overall with two wins over ranked opponents.

James Edley collected two Honorable Mention selections in both singles and doubles. He recorded eight wins at No. 1 singles for the RiverHawks and teamed with Luis Denda for a 4-2 record in league doubles play. Denda also earned Honorable Mention honors with Edley in doubles.

The honors come as Northeastern State prepares for postseason competition in the MIAA/GAC Tournament.
