GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Northeastern State finished Tuesday's action at the Palm Valley Classic by collecting a tournament-high score of 302 in the third and final round, placing 20th across the event with a two-day score of 882 (290-290-302).
Ian Wilcoxen led NSU individually with a top-30 finish, concluding the tournament with a 212 (70-72-70) to tie for 28th.
Nathan Biais was four strokes back with a 216 (72-72-72).
Juan Vergel closed the event with a 229 (73-76-80), while
Mateo Castro provided a 230 (80-70-80) and
Carson Scrymgeour collected a 233 (75-77-81), respectively.
The RiverHawks compete in the MIAA Championships next week in Jefferson City, Mo. from Apr. 13-15.
