KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Northeastern State women's tennis team had four student-athletes placed on the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association's Honor Roll on Tuesday.
Association officials named
Lucia Bontempo, Camila De Michele,
Annika Kleinhans, and Sofiia Kotliarova.
To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
Kotliarova claimed Scholar-Athlete status for being named All-MIAA and having at least a 3.50 grade point average. Kleinhans earned MIAA Academic Excellence for having a perfect 4.00 GPA.
Newcomers and freshmen will be announced in a later release from the MIAA.
