KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seven Northeastern State Golfers earned Honor Roll status from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) on Tuesday. 

Association officials named Laia Llorens and Jessica Parker for the women. Will Livermore, Bliss Newton, Juan Vergel, Cole Waymire, and Evan Weaver represented the NSU men.

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.

Parker claimed Scholar-Athlete status for being named All-MIAA and having at least a 3.50 grade point average.  Llorens earned MIAA Academic Excellence for having a perfect 4.00 GPA.

Newcomers and freshmen will be announced in a later release from the MIAA.
