Women's Tennis earns ITA All-Academic accolades

TEMPE, Ariz. – Northeastern State earned All-Academic Team status from the ITA for the 11th consecutive year, with seven members of the 2025-26 squad honored as Scholar Athletes.

To achieve ITA Scholar Athlete status, the student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.

Criteria for the All-Academic Team accolade include a team GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year; student-athletes must be listed on the institutional eligibility form and be letterwinners, and all student-athletes must be included on the nomination form. 

In 2026, 649 Division II women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 95 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
