NORMAN -- Juan Vergel earned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar status from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Monday for his work in the classroom and on the course. 

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, or senior, have a stroke average of 78.0, and maintain a 3.2 grade point average.

Since 2003, the NSU men's golf program has earned 30 GCAA All-America Scholar accolades.

205 NCAA Division II athletes from 75 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt All-America Scholar Honors.
