Women's Soccer hosts Oklahoma Christian Tuesday

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State will have a quick turnaround when they host Oklahoma Christian for the first time since 2015 on Tuesday evening at DeLoache Field in women's soccer action.

The matchup is just one of two Tuesday contests for the RiverHawks this fall, with NSU coming off a 1-nil home win over Harding on Sunday afternoon.

In two early matches, NSU (2-0) has matched opponents in shots per game (17) but has been limited to six corners.  Annabella Trotter paces the RiverHawks in points with a goal and an assist in their season opener last week at Ouachita Baptist.   Juliette Langlet has 12 saves, with her lone goal allowed being a penalty kick.

Oklahoma Christian (1-0) was picked 11th out of 15 teams in the Lone Star Conference preseason coaches poll.  The Eagles opened the season with a 2-0 win over Colorado Christian on Saturday in Edmond.

The RiverHawks own a 4-0 series lead over the Eagles.  Kickoff from DeLoache is at 7 p.m.
