Men's Soccer host Drury in Midweek tilt

TAHLEQUAH – NSU men's soccer returns to the pitch this Wednesday, where they will host a non-conference tilt with Drury at 7 p.m.  The RiverHawks will play their third consecutive home match this fall, with the homestand concluding on Saturday.

Northeastern State (0-2) was edged on Sunday by No. 16 Lincoln (Mo.) with the Blue Tigers scoring the match's lone goal in the 66th minute. In his first start, Victor Jaunay made five saves, while the NSU offense was limited to four shots.

Brandon Fuenmayor scored the lone goal of the season in NSU's opener against Missouri S&T last week in a 2-1 setback.

Drury (1-1) beat Davenport in their opener and took a 1-nil home loss to Oklahoma Christian this past Saturday.   The Panthers were picked to finish sixth in the GLVC after going 8-5-5 (7-4-3 GLVC) last season. They return Lui Bull, who paced DU with 4 goals and 3 assists.

The RiverHawks have a 4-8-2 overall record against Drury and are 2-3-1 at home.  Northeastern State has not lost in four of the last five meetings.
