TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday night, falling 2-0 to Oklahoma Christian at DeLoache Field despite an 11-5 advantage in corner kicks.
The RiverHawks (2-1) controlled much of the attacking pressure, particularly in the second half, when they earned eight of their 11 corner kicks. NSU finished with 12 shots, putting three on frame, while Oklahoma Christian (2-0) also recorded 12 shots but placed seven on target.

Juliette Langlet made four saves, while Oklahoma Christian goalkeeper Breanna Wooten recorded three saves to preserve the shutout.
The RiverHawks return to action Saturday at 5 p.m. when they host UT Tyler at DeLoache Field.
