TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State volleyball travels to Arkansas-Fort Smith for the first time for a Tuesday MIAA clash.

The RiverHawks (1-11, 0-2 MIAA) grabbed a set from Missouri Southern on Friday evening in front of nearly 1,800 inside the Event Center. Paige Miller landed a season-high 15 kills, and Lanie Brown hit .600 with 10 kills and just one error. Sydney Dunkleberger heads into this week 18th in the MIAA with 162 assists.

The Lions (12-3, 1-1 MIAA) split their opening MIAA weekend, sweeping Missouri Southern and being swept by Central Missouri.  Before UCM swept them on Friday, Fort Smith entered MIAA play on a ten-game winning streak, its longest since 2019.  The win over Missouri Southern snapped an 11-game skid in MIAA play.
