TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State men's soccer closes off its four-match homestand on Saturday, when they will host Oklahoma Christian as part of a doubleheader with the women's program.
The RiverHawks (0-3) were within three minutes of earning a draw on Wednesday with Drury before the Panthers picked up an equalizer. NSU's defense has limited teams to one goal each of the last two matches while its offense holds a 28-to-26 advantage.
Oklahoma Christian (3-0) has allowed one goal through its first three matches. Kenzo Shabazz-Edwards has opened the season with a goal in each Eagles match with six shots taken on goal.
Northeastern State holds a 15-12-1 overall series lead over the Eagles, with the last visit to Tahlequah being in 2019. The last meeting at DeLoache Field ended in a historic night with NSU scoring four goals in the final 11 minutes to overtake OC.
