TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State women's soccer climbed into the United Soccer Coaches Division II poll and will enter its Saturday match with UT Tyler ranked No. 25 nationally.

The poll was released following a 1-nil setback to Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday evening and did not include that result. 

Saturday's tilt is the middle contest of a five-match homestand, and it will be the first time the RiverHawks will host UT Tyler.  The two programs met last season in Texas, with the Patriots winning 2-1 in the only other meeting.

UT Tyler opened the season with a 2-1 loss to Rogers State and hammered East Central on Wednesday night, 9-3, netting seven goals in the first 33 minutes of the match. 

The RiverHawks are averaging 15.3 shots per game and have matched their foes with 17 corners.  Hannah Anderson and Mya lynn Tran led NSU with eight shots taken.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 5 p.m
