TAHLEQUAH – The Northeastern State women's soccer team will keep their homestand going on Tuesday evening as they host East Central at DeLoache Field for more non-conference action.
The RiverHawks are ranked No. 25 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll and have a 2-1-1 record. On Saturday, NSU finished with a scoreless draw for the first time since 2023, when they faced UT Tyler. The team has not scored in their last two games and has averaged 10 shots per match.
East Central (0-4) has not won in its last eight matches, going back to last season. Last week, the Tigers gave up nine goals to UT Tyler in the first half. So far in 2026, they have been outscored 24-5 in their first four games.
Northeastern State leads the series against East Central 18-2-2 and has won the last seven matchups. In Tahlequah, NSU has a 10-1-1 record. East Central last beat Northeastern State in 2000.
Kickoff at DeLoache Field is scheduled for 6 p.m.
