RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- Northeastern State's Carter Adams claimed GAC/MIAA Offensive Player of the Week Honors, conference officials announced Tuesday. 

Adams netted two shots to become one of three GAC players this season to post a two-goal match in a win for NSU over Oklahoma Christian, giving the Eagles their first setback of the season.

The weekly honor is the first for Adams, who his in his third season at Northeastern State. 

Adams and the RiverHawks travel on Thursday to visit UT Dallas on Thursday evening.
