Biography

Senior (2018) – Placed runner-up in the Oral Roberts flight “A” consolation bracket…reached the semi-finals at the Central Arkansas Invite in the top-flight…ITA Central Regional Doubles finalist.

Junior (2017) – Ranked as high as No. 4 Nationally in Doubles and finished the season at No. 17 in doubles…was nationally ranked through the regular season in singles in-between No. 30 and 35…named MIAA Athlete of the Week three times…named All-MIAA First Team at No. 1 doubles and was honorable mention at No. 1 singles…won the ITA Central Region Title and placed fourth at the ITA Oracle Cup…named as ITA Scholar-Athlete…finished the season 15-7 at NSU’s top singles spot and was 7-2 in MIAA play…19-5 in No. 1 doubles and was 4-0 against regional ranked foes.

Sophomore (2016) – Posted a 24-6 overall singles mark with a 23-8 record in doubles…selected to the All-MIAA Singles First Team (#4) and the All-MIAA Doubles First Team (#1)…ascended to a national ITA singles ranking of No. 46 on Nov. 23…ended the year as one half of the nation’s No. 15-ranked doubles tandem (June 1)…was also ranked No. 21 in the nation in doubles in the preseason…tallied a 10-0 record in singles and a 6-1 record in doubles during regular-season MIAA competition…ended the campaign on a season-best 14-match singles win streak…also won eight-straight doubles matches late in the year…chosen as the MIAA Player of the Week on April 18…honored as an MIAA Scholar-Athlete and named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll…also named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
 
Freshman (2015) – Registered a 25-6 record in singles competition and tallied a 23-9 mark in doubles … named to the All-MIAA Singles First Team at the No. 3 position and the All-MIAA Doubles Second Team at the second flight…played in every match against MIAA opponents and finished 19-0 in all conference competition…compiled an eight-match singles win streak early in the year and also totaled win streaks of six and five in the spring…season-best doubles win streak was six, and also had two separate five-match win streaks in doubles…earned the MIAA Academic Excellence award after compiling a 4.00 grade-point average…also named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete and landed on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
High School – Was ranked as high as No. 3 in the junior Nike British Tennis rankings in her career…of her biggest tournament victories came at the Torbay Open in 2012, when she captured the under-16 singles championship…the event is one of the biggest annual junior tournaments in Great Britain and is an event current ATP top-10 player Andy Murray competed in during his junior career…Worden was part of three teams that were honored as National British Champions…also helped her tennis club (West Hants Club) win four national club titles in a five-year span…also competed as an amateur in women’s events on the British Tour.
