DeClaudio Irvin is entering his second season as an assistant on Sunny Golloway's baseball coaching staff at Northeastern State and his third with the program.

Irvin served as a student assistant during the 2024 season, assisting in the development of the team's roster, in addition to an on-field role as the team's third base coach through a portion of conference play. He helped in coaching Tyson Fourkiller to All-MIAA and All-Region honors, while the team placed three more players on the All-MIAA recipients list.

He wrapped up his collegiate playing career in 2023 with the RiverHawks, where Irvin made 35 appearances and 27 starts in the infield. One of the team's top hitters with runners in scoring position, the native of Midwest City, Okla. logged 27 RBI across 100 at-bats.

Prior to moving to Tahlequah, Irvin spent time at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, where he made 44 starts across two seasons with the Golden Lions. He was a standout in the junior college ranks at Connors State, hitting .341 in a COVID-shortened 2020 season and serving as a key participant of CSC's 2019 NJCAA World Series team, with 41 RBI in 57 games as a true freshman.
