Jacob White

The 2015 campaign is the second for Jacob White as the graduate assistant coach for the NSU baseball team. He is assisting with position players.

White most recently served the 2013 campaign as an assistant coach at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kan. He helped lead the team to the regional finals.

He was also an assistant at Louisburg High School in Louisburg, Kan., during the spring 2012 season.

White played for Emporia State University for three seasons (2009-11) and helped lead the Hornets to the NCAA Division II National Championship game in 2009. He started at second base in the title game against Lynn and went 1-for-4 in the 8-hole. As a senior, White compiled a .340 batting average with 54 hits and 24 runs batted in. He started 46 games and played in 50.

He also competed for two seasons at Highland Community College in Highland, Kan., prior to transferring to ESU.

He also played for the Quincy Gems team that captured the 2009 Prospect League Championship, and the Milgram Mustangs squad that won the 2008 Ban Johnson League Championship.

White received a bachelor of art degree in communications from Emporia State University in 2011. He is currently working toward a masters degree in kinesiology from Northeastern State.
