COVID-Redshirt Junior (2021) - Made 18 appearances throwing 20.1 innings out of the bullpen...Had a 1.77 ERA and 0.89 WHIP...Went 2-0 and batters hit just .152...Allowed 10 hits and just two for extra bases...Was All-MIAA Honorable Mention...MIAA Scholar-Athlete and member of the MIAA Honor Roll.

Redshirt Junior (2020) - Made three relief appearances, throwing 4.1 innings… Recorded five strikeouts… Threw one scoreless inning on Feb. 11 at Northwestern Oklahoma…

Redshirt Sophomore (2019) - Missed first month of the season due to injury and was slowly brought back into the bullpen in March...had the team's best ERA in 13 2/3 innings tossed...struck out six batters in his lone start of the season in two innings against UA-Fort Smith at home.

Sophomore (2018) -  Made seven appearances on the mound for the RiverHawks…finished with a 2-2 record and collected two saves… also hit .400 at the plate with two hits in five plate appearances...suffered a season ending injury and was granted a medical redshirt.

Bethany College (2016) - Made 17 appearances out of the bullpen for Bethany with three wins...struck out 37 as a freshman...struck out a season high five batters three times.
 
High School - Two-time Academic All-Conference selection at Sapulpa HS.

Personal - Son of John and Cathy Rains...Grandfather is NSU basketball alum and played for Jack Dobbins...Is 25 years old.
