Brady Foltz comes to Northeastern State after year at Butler CC (El Dorado, Kan.) where he worked with the Grizzlies’ H-Backs and tight ends.
Foltz coached two players to All-Jayhawk Conference honors while capping the season at the Salt City Bowl.
Foltz was a four-year letterman at Texas Christian University on the offensive line, and was a starter for the Horned Frogs during his junior and senior season.
In 2015, Foltz helped TCU to a No. 7 ranking by the Associated Press and Coaches poll. The Horned Frogs finished with an 11-2 record, which included a wild 47-41 three-overtime victory over Oregon in the Valero Alamo Bowl. TCU rallied from a 31-0 halftime deficit to win the game. Foltz made nine starts at right guard, then moved to left guard for the final three games.
Foltz started all 13 contests at left guard for the Horned Frogs in 2014, as TCU finished 12-1 overall and a No. 3 ranking by the AP and Coaches polls. The Frogs blitzed Ole Miss 42-3 to win the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Foltz helped key a TCU offense that finished second in the nation in scoring (46.5 points per game) and tied for fifth in total offense (533.0 yards per game). The Frogs set single-season school records for points, passing yards, total yards, first downs and plays.
After redshirting in 2011, Foltz appeared in 22 of 25 games during his first two seasons at TCU, as he added depth on the offensive line while also contributing on special teams.
Foltz was one of the top Kansas recruits in 2010 out of Rose Hill High School, as he was ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 41 guard nationally and No 2 in the state of Kansas. He was a 4A first-team all-state and all-league selection on the offensive and defensive lines as a senior and junior. Foltz did not allow a sack his final two seasons. A Wichita All-Metro selection and a member of the Wichita Eagle Top 22, Foltz was also named the Rockets’ team captain and most valuable player. He was a four-year letterman in football and also lettered three years in basketball and track and field.
Foltz is the younger brother of former TCU offensive guard Blaize Foltz. His father, Roger, played football at Wake Forest, while his mother, Heidi, was a basketball player at Fort Hays State.
