Jared McGehee

Jared McGehee is in his second season on the Northeastern State football staff.

McGehee served as assistant wide receivers coach in 2024 and helped in developing a passing attack that averaged 97.36 more yards per game from the previous year, while increasing yards per attempt by 2.35, in addition to amassing 1,071 additional passing yards and 13 more touchdowns. 

McGehee comes to NSU after spending 2023 on the staff at Alabama A&M, where he served as a graduate assistant with an emphasis on coaching quarterbacks. He also spent 2022 at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High in Wichita, Kan. as wide receivers coach.

McGehee completed his Bachelors in Business Administration at Friends in Wichita, where he played receiver and tight end on the football team from 2019-21. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Northeastern State.
