Mitch Buhler

The 2017 season is the second at NSU for Mitch Buhler as a graduate assistant with the football program. He assists with the running backs.

Buhler came to Tahlequah following a one-year stint in 2015 as an offensive assistant at Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas.

He played from 2011-14 at Washburn University and served as team captain for three years. He was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection his senior year.

Buhler graduated from WU in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in kinesiology from Northeastern State.

He is the son of Steve and Shelly Buhler.Â
