Billy Flint is in his second year as a graduate assistant with the NSU men's basketball team.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native returned to his home state after serving as a student manager for four years at Saint Louis University. He worked under legendary coach Rick Majerus for two seasons and served under Jim Crews for two years. Crews was named the Atlantic-10 Coach of the Year both years Flint was a manager for the team, and he was also named the UPS NABC Division I Coach of the Year in 2013.
As a manager with the Billikens, Flint assisted with the day-to-day operations of the program, including flim work, practices and organizing team travel. SLU competed in the NCAA Championship tournament three-straight years from 2012-14. The team won two A-10 Regular Season Championships (2012-13 and 2013-14) and also captured the 2013 A-10 Conference Tournament Championship. The Billikens reached the top 10 of the Associated Press Coaches' Poll on Feb. 17, 2014.
Flint served as manager for Danny Limes in 2008-09 during his senior year at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. Limes, a long-time coach at BKHS, is an NSU alumnus and was also a member of the Northeastern State men's basketball team.
He graduated from SLU in 2014 with a Bachelor of Art degree in communications and a minor in political science. He is pursuing a Master of Science degree in higher education leadership from Northeastern State.
