Chance Johnston is in his fifth season with the NSU men's basketball team. He spent his first three years as a student assistant and the 2014-15 campaign will be his second as a graduate assistant. Johnston assists with recruiting, practice and travel.
He also served two years from 2011-13 helping coach the boy's basketball team in Tahlequah that is sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club.
Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Northeastern State in 2013. The Jay, Oklahoma, native is currently working toward a Master of Science degree in kinesiology from NSU.
