Kyrsten Wolgast enters her first season as an assistant athletic trainer at Northeastern State University.
Wolgast comes to Green Country after completing her Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Kansas State University in 2024. While at KSU, she worked with the football team in 2022 before working with Abilene High School in Abilene, Kan. from 2023-24.
In addition to her role at Abilene HS, she worked the Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo in Abilene in 2023 and the Kansas State University Rodeo in Manhattan, Kan. in 2023 and 2024.
Born and raised in Springfield, Va., Wolgast is joined in Tahlequah by her husband, who attends optometry school at NSU.
