Trevor Fritz

Trevor Fritz was named Speed, Strength and Conditioning (SSC) Coach in July 2018 by Director of Athletics and Chief Athletics Officer Tony Duckworth.

Fritz joined the department in a part-time capacity in January 2018, and is the first full-time SSC Coach for Northeastern State Athletics. 

The position encompasses all ten of Northeastern State’s intercollegiate programs, which compete in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), and NCAA Division II.

Prior to arriving in Tahlequah, Fritz joined the University of Tulsa as an athletics performance assistant in May 2017 working specifically with football, track and field, women’s rowing, and women’s basketball.

Fritz was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for his alma mater Central Methodist University (Fayette, Mo.).  He served as department lead for men’s basketball, women’s soccer, and cross-country. 

Additionally, Fritz interned during summer of 2016 at the University of Missouri under Coach Rohrk Cutchlow and his staff.

Fritz is a graduate of Central Methodist, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2016, and is presently working on a master’s degree in Athletics Administration.
