Dornelles enters his second season as a graduate assistant and his fourth season overall at Northeastern State.
In 2024, Dornelles coached a pair of All-GAC/MIAA selections in Donovan Aparicio and Javier Solis. For the season, the RiverHawks were the least-penalized team in the conference, averaging just 9.5 fouls per contest. The team also finished the season strong their most productive single-game offensive showing since 2022 in a 5-3 victory over Harding in the season finale.
Dornelles played two seasons for the RiverHawks (2022-23) and was an All-GAC/MIAA selection both years, earning a First Team nod in 2023. He provided three goals across his NSU playing career, in addition to seven assists (five in 2023), while playing 1,911 total minutes with the team. Previously, Dornelles played two seasons at Barton CC.
