Jake Schmoker

The 2016 season is the third at Northeastern State for Jake Schmoker as a graduate assistant. He focuses primarily on coaching the forwards and midfielders.

Schmoker served as an assistant coach from 2012-13 at Durango High School in Durango, Colorado.

He played in summer 2014 for the Tulsa Athletics, and he was also a member of the Des Moines Menace in Des Moines, Iowa, from 2010-11. The Menace compete in the Premier Development League.

Schmoker is the older brother of former NSU players Zach (2007-10), Adam (2012-14) and Jordan (2012-14) Schmoker.

He graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. He is currently working toward a Master of Science degree in business from Northeastern State.

Schmoker competed at FLC in 2008 and helped lead the team to the NCAA Championship Second Round. He played in 15 matches and made one start, while finishing with a pair of goals and one assist for five points. He also played at NCAA Division I Oral Roberts University from 2005-07.
