Kouhei joined the Northeastern State Sports Medicine department on Aug. 2018 and is the primary Athletic Trainer for baseball and men's soccer. He also is an assistant trainer for the RiverHawks' football program.Â
In the summer of 2019, Kouhei worked for Ozark FC (NPSL) as that team's athletic trainer.Â
Before arriving in Tahlequah, Kouhei earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in May 2018 at Central Arkansas. As an undergraduate, he worked with UCA baseball, football, tennis, softball, track and field, cross country, and volleyball. Â Kouhei had off-campus clinical experiences at Beebe Public Schools, Hendrix College, and the Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club. Â
Kouhei was a member of the UCA President's List and Dean's List. He has 17-years of soccer playing experience and played for the Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club in 2016 and 2018. Â
Kouhei currently resides in Tahlequah and is from Chiba City, Japan.
