Alex Ramirez is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the RiverHawks. Her primary coaching responsibilities include team defense and slap hitting instruction.
Alex is from LaPorte, Texas and is a 2010 graduate from Bacone College, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. While attending Bacone she played for Coach Clay Davis and was a four year starter as a second baseman. Alex was named to the Red River Athletic Conference team four times, to the All-Region team twice and played on the NAIA Louisville Slugger team twice. She was also named Newcomer of the Year in 2007 and Defensive Player of the Year 2009.
Alex is a graduate student at Northeastern State and is pursuing a Masters in Health and Kinesiology.
