NORTHEASTERN STATE – A returning squad member . . . has appeared in five games with one start . . . owns a career 11.00 ERA and has pitched 7.0 innings . . . owns a 0-0 record and one career strikeout . . . transferred to NSU after spending her first two collegiate campaigns at St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
 
Junior (2016) – Pitched in five games and made one start during her inaugural campaign with the RiverHawks . . . compiled a 11.00 earned-run average in 7.0 innings pitched . . . tallied one strikeout and a 0-0 record . . . earned the starting assignment against Cameron.
 
St. Gregory’s University (2014-15) – Stepped into the circle 42 times and made 26 starts in her two years as a member of the Cavaliers . . . SGU competes at the NAIA Division I level and is a member of the Sooner Athletic Conference . . . compiled a 2.47 ERA and a 20-4 record in 139 innings pitched . . . threw 12 complete games and four shutouts, including one no-hitter as a freshman . . . also tallied 105 strikeouts . . . honored once as the SAC Player of the Week . . . helped lead SGU to the SAC Regular-Season Championship freshman year, which was the first conference crown in school history . . . the Cavaliers boasted a record of 88-23 in her two years, which included a record-breaking 52-12 campaign in 2014 that saw the team advance to the NAIA World Series . . . the team appeared in the NAIA playoffs twice . . . High School – Was a four-year letterwinner at Festus High School under the guidance of Jeff Montgomery . . . led the Tigers to a 25-4 record and an appearance in the Class 3 semifinals her senior year - the furthest a Festus softball team had ever advanced in the postseason . . . hit .388 as a senior with three home runs and 24 RBIs . . . amassed a 21-3 record with a 2.42 earned-run average in 164-2/3 innings pitched . . . her 204 strikeouts and win total were second-most in the St. Louis area . . . earned all-state recognition three times and is a two-time first-team all-metro player . . . named all-conference, all-district and was selected as the KTJJ Dream Team Softball Player of the Year . . . was the Player of the Year in the Jefferson County Conference . . . as a junior, Carter hit .512 with 12 doubles, six home runs and 40 RBIs in addition to going 16-5 in the circle with a 1.94 earned-run average.
