Tosha Tyler

Tosha Tyler is in her third season as a graduate assistant at Northeastern State. She assists with coaching the guards, as well as helping with scouting, recruiting, equipment inventory, and travel coordination.

Tyler was a four-year letterwinner under NSU coach Randy Gipson. She scored 901 points (8.2 ppg), grabbed 334 rebounds (3.1 rpg) and connected on 158 three-point shots (1.4) in her illustrious career. She also recorded 38 double-digit scoring performances.

She played on three NCAA Championship tournament teams, including a 2009-10 squad that advanced to the Sweet 16. She capped off her career by being named All-MIAA in her final collegiate campaign.

Her previous coaching experience includes seven summers from 2005-12 assisting with the Craig County Basketball Camp in her hometown of Vinita, Okla. The camp was open to girls ranging from first grade to ninth grade.

Tyler graduated from Northeastern State in December 2013 with a bachelor of science degree in health and human performance and a minor in biology. She is working towards a masters degree in kinesiology.
