Jake Sorenson enters his third season on the Northeastern State women's soccer coaching staff.
Sorenson assisted in NSU's 13-win effort in 2024, their most victories since 2019. Additionally, Whitney Gentry was a USC All-Region selection and Lexis Walls earned a spot on the MIAA All-Tournament team.
He served under head coach Chase Wooten and assisted in developing a roster that qualified for the MIAA Tournament in 2023. He coached three All-MIAA players, in addition to an All-MIAA Tournament selection at goalkeeper in Rebecca Partyka.
Sorenson previously spent his collegiate playing career at Southwestern Christian (2022), William Penn (2021) and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (2019-20).Â
