Northeastern State earns 0-0 away tie with first-place Lindenwood

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Northeastern State men's soccer team earned a 0-0 draw with Lindenwood Thursday night at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium.
 
The Lions (7-2-3, 4-0-2 MIAA) outshot the RiverHawks (7-3-1, 4-1-1 MIAA) by a narrow 12-10 margin, and the two teams remained within a point of each other in the league table.
 
Senior midfielder Bo White led the RiverHawks with five shots. Senior goalkeeper Jordan Ladbrooke earned the split decision following a five-save performance in 110 minutes of action. LU keeper Fermin Hughes stopped six NSU shots, and Ivan Romero led the Lions with four shots.
 
Northeastern State will return to action at 11 a.m. Oct. 13 at Southwest Baptist.
