TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University (3-2) will travel to Springfield, Mo., for a road matchup against No. 25 Drury (3-1). Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at O'Reilly Family Event Center (3,100).
The RiverHawks won three-straight games over Oklahoma City (66-52), Southeastern Oklahoma State (80-57) and Northwestern Oklahoma State (64-48). Sandwiching those wins were losses to Lubbock Christian (75-67) and Tarleton State (59-57),
SCOUTING THE LADY PANTHERS
No. 25 Drury currently sits at 3-1 on the young season. The Lady Panthers have defeated Union (69-60), Northwestern Oklahoma State (68-46) and Southwest Baptist (60-55). The loss on the card was at Washburn (67-50). The team is led in scoring and rebounding by Bethanie Funderburk, who is recording 16.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 2.5 apg. Katie Pritchard is second at 13.0 ppg, 3.0 apg and 2.8 rpg. Emilie Gray is averaging 11.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 1.5 apg.
LEWIS, GREEN SURPASS MILESTONES

Taylor Lewis and senior forward
Sarah Green both recorded their 100th career game in the green and white Nov. 24 against Tarleton State. Lewis has made 66 career starts and has scored in double figures 53 times, which includes a stretch sophomore year where she recorded 11 straight. Green owns 35 starts, has scored in double digits 14 times and has also recorded three double-digit rebounding efforts. Lewis also knocked down her 200th career three-point basket Nov. 20 against Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Seven members of the Northeastern State women's basketball are currently averaging at least 5.0 points per game and six are upperclassmen. Leading the way for NSU is senior guard

MIAA NETWORK
The Northeastern State men's and women's basketball road games against Lincoln University will be televised by the MIAA Network. The contests will be one of just three league doubleheaders being aired by the network, which is available locally on Cox Oklahoma Channels 3 and 703, and on KSMO Channel 62 in Kansas City. The RiverHawks' games against the Blue Tigers have been moved up a half hour to accommodate the network's broadcast schedule. The women's game will now begin at 1:07 p.m., while the men's game is now slated for a 3:07 p.m. tip. Both contests will be in Jason Gym on Lincoln's campus. It will be the first meeting for both programs as league rivals, as NSU is currently in its inaugural campaign in the MIAA. NSU will kick off the MIAA Network's basketball slate, which will feature three doubleheaders and the men's and women's tournament championship games. In addition to NSU's Dec. 8 contests, the MIAA Network will also broadcast the Feb. 23 doubleheader between Nebraska Kearny and Missouri Western and the March 2 doubleheader between Central Missouri and Washburn. The network will close out the regular season on March 10 with the MIAA Women's and Men's Basketball Championship games, which will be played at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
NORTHEASTERN STATE RECEIVING VOTES IN LATEST POLLS
The NSU women's basketball team is currently the first team outside the top 25 in the most recent USA Today Division II Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Poll released Nov. 20. The RiverHawks received 71 votes, just three shy of cracking the top 25. The team began the year at No. 23 in the preseason.
NSU's GIPSON IN 14TH SEASON

Randy Gipson (Kentucky, '79) is in his 14th season as the RiverHawks head coach. He currently owns a 262-122 record at NSU. He has never recorded a losing season in his 13 prior campaigns at Northeastern State, and he has led the program to seven appearances in the NCAA Championship. His NSU women's basketball teams have earned two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances (2004, '10), while advancing to the NCAA Second Round each of the last two seasons (2011-12). Gipson came to Northeastern State in 1999-00, and he captured six Lone Star Conference North Division Championships in a 12-year span. He also led NSU to the 2003 LSC Tournament Championship, while finishing runner up in the conference tournament on three occasions (2004, '05, '10). Gipson's 2011-12 squad ranked in the top 25 nationally in eight statistical categories. NSU was second in all of NCAA Division II in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.26), fourth in turnovers per game (12.7), fifth in scoring defense (52.2), 12th in three-point field goals made per game (7.9), 13th in field-goal percentage defense (.347), 14th in won-lost percentage (.833), 23rd in assists per game (16.1), and 24th in scoring margin (11.1). He began his career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO), where he spent 11 years leading the Lady Norse. He took NEO to a National Runner-up finish in 1991, and he was named Region II Coach of the Year three times.
ONE FINAL YEAR
The 2012-13 campaign marks the last in Jack Dobbins Field House. The field house has served as the home of NSU basketball since the 1954-55 season, and Northeastern State will move into its new home beginning in 2013-14. The $14.4 million event center has yet to be named and is currently under construction. The new home of RiverHawks basketball will seat 3,000 and will be located adjacent to Doc Wadley Stadium on the north side of the NSU campus.
REACHING THE 25-WIN MARK
NSU has recorded at least 25 wins and a spot in the NCAA Second Round each of the last three years. The RiverHawks posted a 28-7 mark in 2009-10, and they also advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16. Northeastern State finished with a 25-5 record each of the last two seasons, and the team reached the NCAA Second Round both years.
MIAA CHAMPIONSHIP IN KC
The 2013 MIAA Women's Basketball Championship is set to take place inside Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. The top 12 teams in the regular season all qualify for postseason play, with the top four earning byes to Kansas City. The first round will be contested at host sites March 5, with the fifth seed hosting No. 12, the sixth seed hosting No. 11, etc. Those four winners will join the top four seeds in KC March 8-10.
TRIVIA NIGHT PREMIERE
NSU Athletics will host “Trivia Night” on Saturday, Jan., 19, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in the University Center's Herb Rozell Ballroom. Jay Hannah, NSU alum, will serve as master of ceremonies. This fundraising event features a fun-filled evening complete with hors d'oeuvres, beverages for purchase, a silent auction and much more.
